Etymology. The species name is a Latin participle (marmoratus, -a, -um = marbled).
Type material. Holotype ♂, PHILIPPINES, Mindanao I., Agusan Prov, S. Francisco, 10 km SE, 12.XI.1959, L.W. Quate ( BPBM, #11,965).
Distribution. Southern Philippines, Borneo, Sumatra, Sulawesi ( Indonesia).
