Etymology. The species name is a latinized adjective ( rubrovenis , -is, -e = with red veins).
Type material. Holotype ♂, PHILIPPINES, Mindanao I., Misamis Or. Prov, Mt Empagatao , 1050–1200 m, 19–30.IV.1961, H. Torrevillas ( BPBM, # 11,958).
Distribution. Philippines (Mindanao Island).
