Glossiphonia concolor (Apathty, 1888)

Material examined. Bashbolakh and Esmaeel Kandi villages, Miandoab, Azerbaijan Gharbi (N 36°3΄8˝, E 46°6΄), 1314m, ZUTC 6019 ( Fig. 1 View FIGURE 1 ).

General distribution and habitats. Distributed in northern, central and eastern Europe (Grosser et al. 2015). Living in mountainous streams and ponds underside of stones or submerged materials. A new record for Iran.

Descriptive features and remarks. Small size leeches (up to 20 mm). Head faintly bulbous. Genital pores separated by two annuli. Dorsally yellowish brown or white, three pairs of stripes present with a prominent inner median one, stripes noticeably projected in anterior part. Dorsal surface with numerous yellowish spots. Ventral surface brownish yellow. Papillae absent.
