This widespread, somewhat common eucnemid species was previously known from Alabama, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Georgia, Kansas, Maine, Massachusetts, Michigan, Missouri, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Texas, Vermont, Virginia, West Virginia, and Wisconsin ( Otto et al. 2014; Otto and Karns 2017).
