Currently, Eudistenia has been included in the two subtribes of Oemini : Oemina ( Tavakilian and Chevillotte 2022; Monné and Nearns 2023); Methioidina ( Bezark 2023b) . In fact, using the key from Martins (1997) (see the key above), Eudistenia would be included in both subtribes, depending on the feature used: Methioidina , by the size of the lower eye lobes; Oemina , by the coarse ommatidia.
