This genus is represented with 18 species (22 taxa) in Turkey. Distinctive seed features of the examined taxa are summarized as the following. Micrographs of examined seeds are shown in Figures 2–5 View FIGURE 2 View FIGURE 5 and a comparison of seed traits of Epilobium and Chamaenerion are given in Table 2.
