Distribution: India: North East India (Meyrick 1925a). Elsewhere : China, Indonesia ( Gaede 1937), Japan (Moriuti 1982), Myanmar, Sri Lanka (Meyrick 1925a), Taiwan (Park & Hodges 1995b), Malaysia, and Thailand (Robinson et al. 1994).
Illustrations: Adult and genitalia ( Clarke 1969a: 354; Park & Hodges 1995b: 227; Li & Zhen 2011: 1064).
Hosts: Leersia hexandra , Oryza sativa , Sacciolepis sp. , Zizania latifolia ( Poaceae ) (Robinson et al. 2023).
