5. Macrosemia pieli (Kato, 1938) View in CoL
Platylomia pieli Kato, 1938: 11 View in CoL ; Chou et al., 1997: 252; Chen & Zheng, 2000: 41. Macrosemia pieli: Lee, 2008: 16 View in CoL .
Distribution. China (Hainan, Sichuan, Fujian, Guangxi, Zhejiang, Jiangxi, Anhui, Yunnan, Guangdong and Hunan), Vietnam (Chen & Zheng, 2000; Chou et al., 1997).
Remarks. This species was recorded from Mt. Jianfengling of Hainan by Chen & Zheng (2000).
6. Macrosemia matsumurai (Kato, 1928) View in CoL
Platylomia matsumurai Kato, 1928: 29 View in CoL .
Macrosemia matsumurai: Kato, 1930: 52 , 64; Lee & Hayashi, 2003a: 174.
Material examined. Hainan: 1♂, Jianfeng, light trap, 9.ix.1982, coll. Wang Chunling (NWAFU). Distribution. China (Hainan, Hunan, Fujian and Taiwan) (Lee & Hayashi, 2003a).
Remarks. This species is newly recorded from Hainan. Genus Dundubia Amyot & Audinet-Serville, 1843
7. Dundubia feae (Distant, 1892) View in CoL Distribution. China (Hainan, Yunnan, Sichuan and Guangxi), Vietnam, Thailand, Laos and Myanmar (Chou et al., 1997; Chen & Zheng, 2000; Lee, 2008).
Remarks. This species was recorded from Qionghai of Hainan by Chen & Zheng (2000). The record of this species from India and Japan (Chou et al., 1997) could not be confirmed, and is not supported by other publications (e.g. Beuk, 1998; Hayashi & Saisho, 2011; Sanborn et al., 2007).
8. Dundubia hainanensis (Distant, 1901) View in CoL
Cosmopsaltria hainanensis Distant, 1901: 247 View in CoL .
Platylomia hainanensis: Distant, 1906a: 61
Dundubia hainanensis: Beuk, 1996: 143 ; Chou et al., 1997: 248; Lee, 2008: 18.
Material examined. Hainan: 1♂ 2♀♀, Mt. Qixianling, 150 m, light trap, 15.v.2011, coll. Yang Mingsheng (NWAFU); 2♀♀, Mt. Limushan, 620 m, 22.v.2011, coll. Yang Mingsheng (NWAFU); 2♀♀, Mt. Bawangling, 176 m, light trap, 12.v.2008, coll. Men Qiulei & Fu Qiang (NWAFU); 2♂♂9♀♀, Mt. Jianfengling, 170 m, 30.v.2011, coll. Yang Mingsheng (NWAFU); 2♂♂, Mt. Wuzhishan, 340 m, 25.iv.1960, coll. Li Changqing (NWAFU); 1♀, Danzhou, 4.v.1964, coll. unknown (NWAFU); 1♀, Mt. Diaoluoshan, light trap, 4.v.1984, coll. Gu Maobin (NWAFU).
Distribution. China (Hainan and Guangxi), Vietnam (Chou et al., 1997).
Remarks. The record of this species from Thailand by Chou et al. (1997) and Lee (2008) could be incorrect. As noted by Sanborn et al., 2007, Dundubia bifasciata Liu, 1940 was synonymized with D. hainanensis (Distant, 1901) by Beuk (1996), but this species is not found in Thailand, because the Thai specimens of D. bifasciata were transferred to D. nagarasingna by Beuk (1996).
