Material examined: One female was detected 13.iv.2017 from same location than holotype and Thailand paratypes earlier. Specimen laid eggs and breeding was succesful. producing two females and five males.

Diagnosis of female. Like in other species of genus Saliocleta , there is sexual dimorphism between females and males in S. puyak . Females beeing somewhat larger (wingspan females 48 mm, males 40–42 mm) and monotonic by colouration. Also females forewing apex is sharp and dorsum with angle.

Description of female. ( Figs 4 View FIGURES 4–6. 4 a–b) Wingspan/ forewing length 48 mm / 24 mm 1exx. (45 mm / 20 mm, 2 reared specimens). Frons straw yellow with porrect thin scales, palpae small, upturned. Patagia, tegulae and thorax straw yellow. Forewings also straw yellow with brown stripe from apex to middle part of unclear postmedial with tiny black dots. Faint brown dash from middle between of postmedial and subbasal lines to dorsum. White obvious dash anteriously to discal cell. Submarginally double line of small black dots on veins. Hindwings lighter straw color. Underside and legs uniform straw color. Female genitalia. ( Fig. 5 View FIGURES 4–6. 4 ) Papillae anales setose roundish, apophyses short narrowing from basally to tips. Ductus bursae long, narrow and sclerotized, corpus bursae pyriform, basally corrucated with open shell like signum. Note. Form and spiculation of signa in Saliocleta genus have diagnostig value.

Preimaginal stages. ( Fig. 6 View FIGURES 4–6. 4 a–c) Eggs round, smooth with small chorion, colour light turquoise. First instar larva with primary setae, later instars sparsely hairy with short setae. Third instar larva grey, with light green patch on prothoraic shield in T1 and black gross line between thoriac segments T1 and 2. Three black stripes on both sides of abdominal segments A 3–5. Last instar alike, but darker grey with unclear markings on back. Brown stripes on both sides under which color is grey. Prolegs are also grey.
