Distribution. South European Russia, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Georgia, Iran ( Knížek 2011b; Alonso-Zarazaga et al. 2017, 2023); from Armenia reported by Arnoldi et al. (1955) from Yerevan, and by Mirzoian (1954) from Lori (Stepanavan), Tavush (Dilijan, Ijevan), Gegharkunik (Chambarak) and Syunik (Goris, Kapan) Provinces.
Hosts. Quercus , Carpinus caucasica , Fagus orientalis , rarely Prunus .
