Distribution. Ukraine, South European Russia, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Georgia, Afghanistan, Iran, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan ( Knížek 2011b; Alonso-Zarazaga et al. 2017, 2023); reported by Arnoldi et al. (1952) from Caucasus without country data and by Petrov (2013) from all Transcaucasian countries. Armenia: reported by Mirzoian (1954, 1977) from several localities of Ararat valley: Yerevan, Armavir (Armavir town, Echmiadzin), Aragatsotn (Ashtarak), Ararat (Artashat, Vedi) Provinces and from Meghri (Syunik Province), and by Iablokoff-Khnzorian (1976) as widely distributed in the same valley.
