Distribution.Azores, Central and South Europe, Malta, Ukraine, South European Russia, North Africa, Madeira, Canary Islands, Cyprus, Israel, Jordan, Asian Turkey, Azerbaijan, Iran, Iraq ( Knížek 2011b; Alonso-Zarazaga et al. 2017, 2023); reported by Stark (1952) and by Arnoldi et al. (1955) from Caucasus and Transcaucasia without country data. Armenia: reported by Mirzoian (1954, 1977) from North Armenia and from Meghri (Syunik Province) and by Iablokoff-Khnzorian (1976) as distributed in a whole zone of fig cultivation.
