Type material. Holotype ♂, VIETNAM: Vinh Phuc Prov.: Tam Dao Nat. Park , 950 m, 24 v 2007, leg. KT Park, gen. slide no. CIS-6277 . Paratype: 1♂, same data as the holotype, 5 v 2005, gen slide no. CIS-6690. All types in NIBR .

Description. Adult ( Fig. 17 View FIGURES 17–24 ). Wingspan 17.0 mm. Head grayish yellow dorsally; frons pale yellow. Ocellus present. Antenna with scape yellowish brown on dorsal surface, yellowish white on ventral surface; flagellum alternately yellow and yellowish brown dorsally. Second segment of labial palpus thick, with triangular scale tuft dorsally, ochreous yellow on outer surface, pale yellow on inner surface; 3rd segment slender, smoothly clothed, shorter than 2nd segment, pale yellow except ochreous yellow on ventral surface. Thorax and tegula yellow, mixed with yellowish-brown scales; mesothoracic anepisternum without hair-pencils in male. Fore- and midleg yellowish brown on outer surface, yellowish white on inner surface, tarsi with tarsomeres yellowish white apically on outer surface; hindleg pale yellow, tibia clothed with long yellowish scales. Forewing ground color pale yellow, scattered with yellowish-brown scales especially below costa from basal 2/5 and below fold; a broad, yellowish-brown fascia with arched anterior margin above fold; costa arched in basal 1/3 then straight; apex more or less acute; termen oblique, slightly convex medially; fringe yellowish brown with yellowish-white narrow basal line. Hind wing brownish gray; fringe concolorous with ground color, with narrow yellowish-white basal line.

Male genitalia ( Fig. 41 View FIGURES 41–46 ): Uncus extremely large, more or less triangular distally, with a longitudinal ridge mesially; anterior margin concave in semicircular. Gnathos strongly bent in basal 1/3, with acute apex; culcitula triangularly rounded on posterior margin, densely spinous. Valva slightly longer than tegumen plus uncus, broadly expanded in distal half with rounded apex; free ventral lobe short, about 1/5 the length of valva, with rounded apex, setose. Setose patch short, irregular-shaped, inflated distally. Vinculum about 2/3 the length of tegumen plus uncus; lateral lobes arisig from distal 4/5 of vinculum, about 1/2 the length of vinculum. Saccal region broad, produced in triangular on anterior margin. Sica single, stout, about 2/3 the length of vinculum. Aedeagus shuttle-shaped, narrowed in basal 1/3, blunt at apex; one sclerotized internal lobe arising from zone, gradually narrowed to sharp apex, slightly exceeding apex of aedeagus; two sclerotized lobes from zone on ventral surface, about 1/3 length of aedeagus, symmetrical, sharp and excurvate apically.

Female unknown.

Distribution. Vietnam (Vinh Phuc).

Diagnosis. This species is similar to Dichomeris neixiangensis Li & Wang, 1999 , but it can be distinguished from the latter by the forewing with yellowish ground color; the lateral lobe of the vinculum gradually narrowed in basal 1/3, the aedeagus having one clerotized internal lobe. In D. neixiangensis , the forewing ground color is yellowish brown; the lateral lobe of the vinculum is gradually narrowed to apex, and the aedeagus has no clerotized internal lobe.

Etymology. The specific name is derived from the Latin prefix, -ochro (= ochreous), with a Latin suffix, – ellus, referring to the ochreous yellow fascia in the forewing.
