REDESCRIPTION: Measurements: Male: Head length in dorsal view 2.0mm; width across eyes 3.8mm; interocular space 1.8mm; interocellar space 0.8mm; length of antennal segments: I: II: III: IV= 4.7:4.0: 3.5: 5.8mm,. Pronotum: Length 6.1mm; width across frontal angles 2.6mm; width across lateral angles 7.7mm. Scutellum length 3.0mm; width 2.9mm. Maximum width of abdomen 6.5mm. Body length 26 mm.
Female: Head length in dorsal view 1.5 mm; width across eyes 3.0 mm; interocular space 1.5 mm; interocellar space 0.8 mm; length of antennal segments: I: II: III: IV=4.5: 3.8: 3.0: 4.9 mm. Pronotum: Length 6.0 mm; width across frontal angles 2.8 mm; width across lateral angles 8.2 mm. Scutellum length 3.0 mm; width 3.5 mm. Maximum width of abdomen 10.5 mm. Body length 26.0 mm.
Male: Dorsal coloration: Head, pronotum, clavus, and corium puce; eyes rufous, ocelli red; antennal segments I to III black and IV orange, basal joint puce; scutellum black; hemelytral membrane brown; abdomen above redsegments III to V with black spot on sides, segments VI and VII almost black; Femora and tibiae black, tarsi yellow. Ventral coloration: Almost all black, rostrum orange, posterior margins of abdominal sternum V orange. Structure: Pronotum rough, anterolateral border with small tubercles, lateral angles rounded, a little raised; connexivum segments III to V incrassated and looked like two layers, lateral angels acanthoid; abdominal sternum III with a frustoconic tubercle on each side, apex of tubercle glossy, sternum III posteriorly strongly produced in middle, lateral margins of protrusion sinuate, apex of protrusion cystiform; sternum IV also produced posteriorly in middle with protrusion of sternum III, only reaching posterior 1/3 of sternum V; apices of protrusions of sterna III and IV obviously elevated, as in Fig. 7 and Fig. 12. Posterior femora inflated and recurved, with a row of denticulations beneath, a bigger one near apex; Posterior tibiae slightly ampliated, with a small spine near apex, as in Pseudomictis brevicornis .
Female: Dorsal coloration: Like male, corium rufous. Ventral coloration: almost black, posterior margins of abdominal sterna IV to VI rufous and glossy. Structure: Abdomen laterally expanded, connexivum not incrassate, abdominal sternum III slightly posteriorly produced in middle. Posterior tibiae slightly ampliated, as in Fig. 4.
