Pseudophloeus Burmeister 1835: 308 View in CoL (subjective junior synonym of Arenocoris Hahn, 1834 View in CoL ; senior homonym of Pseudophloeus Yablokov-Khnzoryan, 1977 View in CoL ).
When Yablokov-Khnzoryan described Pseudophloeus View in CoL in 1977, he was unaware of the hemipteran genus Pseudophloeus Burmeister, 1835 View in CoL (which was subsequently synonymized with Arenocoris Hahn, 1834 View in CoL ; see El Hamouly et al. 2010). Despite being invalid, Pseudophloeus Burmeister View in CoL is still available ( ICZN 1999, Article 10.6) and cannot be used for another genus. As a result, we hereby propose the above replacement name, Yablokophloeus , to rectify this problem.
