Number of specimens recorded. 6.

Distribution. Europe. Portugal: two coastal provinces in northern (Douro Litoral) and southern Portugal (Algarve).

Ecology. No clear habitat preference could be deduced from its Portuguese distribution records. On the contrary, in northwestern Europe D. sabinus is strongly restricted to salt marshes and brackish marshes ( Pollet 2000).

Rarity (%). 3.4 (rare). Rare (FL).

Activity period. May, September–October.
