Material. 1 juv. ♂ ( ZMUS), Dagestan, Kayakentsky District, near Novokayakent, Quercus , Fraxinus forest, in leaf litter and soil, N42°23'8", E47°58'2", 15 m, 3. VI.2021, coll. RZ, EB.
Distribution. Mostly the eastern Mediterranean Region ( Bonato et al. 2008). Russia: Crimea ( Attems 1929), Stavropol (Zuev 2016), and Krasnodar territories ( Korobushkin et al. 2016), and Dagestan (new).
Remarks. This species and genus Diphyonyx are new to the fauna of the Dagestan.
