Material examined. 5 males and 5 females, Nonggang National Nature Reserve , Guangxi Province, 1~ 6-Ⅹ-2021, Zhixin He and Ning Wang coll.

Description. Male. Head slightly narrower than posterior margin of pronotum. Frontal rostrum nearly as wide as antennal scape. Face transversely broad. Ocelli small, nearly rounded. Eyes developed. Postclypeus narrowly banded. Labrum shield-like. Maxillary palpi apically triangular, slightly shorter than third segment. Pronotum trapezoidal, anterior margin straighter and posterior margin projecting backwards. The longitudinal veins and transverse veins of tegmina form transverse chambers.

Male genitalia. In dorsal view, the median lobe of epiphallus curved outward, scimitar-shaped; the ends of lateral lobe sword-like and nearly flush with median lobe ends. In lateral view, Ectoparamere membranous, crescent, narrower than lateral lobes.

Female. Similar to males. Ovipositor sword-like, and yellow-brown; the first valvulae of ovipositor ventral arcuate, the third valvulae with teeth at the end.

Coloration. Body brown. Occiput and pronotum with dark brown markings, propleuron dark brown. Tegmina dark brown interspersed with light brown; wings dark brown, with light brown stripes.

Measurements. Male (n=5). BL 4.5±0.27, HL 0.47±0.03, HW 1.14±0.05, PL 0.76±0.02, PW 1.21±0.06, FWL 3.95±0.03, HFL 3.66±0.13; Female (n=5). BL 4.76±0.11, HL 0.55±0.07, HW 1.20±0.04, PL 0.82±0.02, PW 1.34±0.03, FWL 3.98±0.05, HFL 3.73±0.28, OL 1.82±0.02.

Remarks. By comparing Z. dian and the type specimens of Polycomus exspiravit He & Ma , we found that both species are same in appearance and male genitalia, so we synonymize P. exspiravit with Z. dian . This species is similar in appearance to Zilingxi danmai He, 2022 , but the tegmina of Z. dian are lighter in color. The male genitalia of the two species differ considerably. Ectoparamere of Z. danmai is more developed, rectangular at the base, rodshaped apically and median lobe straighter. Ectoparamere of Z. dian is smaller, angular at the end, curved inwards, and median lobe distinctly curved.
