DiagNosis. This new species can be distinguished from its congeners by the forewing having a small white tornal spot, which is similar to that of P. alveiformis Wang, Du et Li, 2013 . It can be separated from P. alveiformis by the apically rounded uncus, the costal part of the valva which is distally widened and longer than the saccular part, and the slender cornutus more than half the length of the aedeagus in the male genitalia.
DescriptioN. Adult ( Fig. 4 View FIGURES 2−9 ) wingspan 7.0−8.0 mm. Head with vertex shining leaden, frons shining grayish white, occiput ochreous brown. Labial palpus with first segment white on inside, dark brown on outside; second segment deep gray on inside, brown on outside; third segment white basally and distally, black medially. Antenna with scape white, pecten dark brown; flagellum white and black on dorsal surface, dark brown on ventral surface. Thorax, tegula and forewing ochreous brown. Forewing with white speckles edged with black scales; basal fascia slender, extending from below costa obliquely outward to dorsum; antemedian fascia wider, extending from basal 1/5 of costa obliquely outward to middle of fold, then obliquely inward and narrowed to middle of dorsum; costal spot sub-oval, large, extending from basal 3/5 of costa to above lower angle of cell; tornal spot small and irregular, anteriorly extending to lower margin of costal spot; apical patch large, elliptical; cilia yellow tinged with black, white on extension of apical spot, gray along dorsal margin. Hindwing and cilia deep gray. Foreleg black, tibia with white speckle at base and middle respectively, with tuft of white scales at apex, tarsus white at apex of each tarsomere on dorsal surface; midleg yellow on ventral surface, black on dorsal surface, tibia white at base, with tuft of white scales at middle and apex, tarsus white at apex of each tarsomere; hindleg yellow on ventral surface, tibia gray and tarsus black except white at apex of each tarsomere on dorsal surface.
Male genitalia ( Fig. 12 View FIGURES 10−15 ). Uncus with basal half broad, sub-rectangular, having two longitudinal parallel median ridges, narrowed sharply from middle, distal half digitate, rounded at apex. Gnathos small, triangular, pointed apically, approximately 3/5 length of uncus. Tegumen divided from posterior 1/4, narrowed anteriorly. Valva subparallel in basal half, divided into two parts in distal half: dorsal part aliform as a whole, its basal 2/3 parallel, distal 1/3 widened to apex, apex oblique, slightly concave medially, produced to a large triangular process dorsoapically, produced to a short densely setose round process ventroapically; ventral part of divided valva shorter, produced triangularly, with a tuft of setae distally. Saccus triangular, approximately as long as uncus. Juxta with distal 2/3 U-shaped; apex of each lobe rounded, reaching posterior 1/5 of tegumen. Aedeagus straight, approximately 1.8 times length of valva; cornutus slender, approximately 3/5 length of aedeagus, placed medially.
Female unknown.
DistributioN. China (Yunnan).
Etymology. The species epithet is derived from the Latin aliformis , referring to the wing-like dorsal part of the valva.
