- Two specimens of N. latiloba were collected; the species was described from Brazil by Saether and Roque (2004). This is the first record of the genus from Costa Rica. Andersen et al. (2011) also recorded the species from Venezuela and confirmed the genus’s position within the tribe Tanytarsini .
