Parabolopona yunnanensis View in CoL sp. nov.
( Figs. 1 View FIGURE 1 , 2 View FIGURE 2 )
Description. Body length (including tegmina), male: 6.8–7.2 mm, female: 7.0– 7.4 mm.
Body color yellowish. Crown, pronotum and scutellum ( Fig. 1 View FIGURE 1 , A, B) with longitudinal or radial yellowish striations, symmetrically arranged. Hind margin of pronotum and lateral margin of scutellum ( Fig. 1 View FIGURE 1 , A, B) with two vague brown spots respectively. Forewing ( Fig. 1 View FIGURE 1 , A, E) veins yellowish. Leg ( Fig. 1 View FIGURE 1 , C, E) with dark brown spots. Head ( Fig. 1 View FIGURE 1 , A, B) approximately as wide as pronotum, anterior margin ( Fig. 1 View FIGURE 1 , D) with two sharp carinae and numerous smaller irregular carinae. Crown ( Fig. 1 View FIGURE 1 , A, B) sharply angled; median length twice as long as next to eyes; coronal suture distinct, extended to mid-length of vertex. Ocelli ( Fig. 1 View FIGURE 1 , A, B, D) slightly distant from eyes, visible dorsally, approximately three times their own diameter from corresponding eyes; lateral frontal sutures ( Fig. 1 View FIGURE 1 , C) not extending to corresponding ocelli. Face ( Fig. 1 View FIGURE 1 , C) slightly wider than long; frontoclypeus tumid, shagreen, anterior margin depressed; clypellus apically expanded; lora large, wider than clypellus near base; gena with oblique wrinkles; antennae ( Fig. 1 View FIGURE 1 , A, B, C) conspicuously longer than half of body length. Pronotum ( Fig. 1 View FIGURE 1 , A, B) twice as wide as long, side margin moderately long, carinate. Forewing ( Fig. 1 View FIGURE 1 , A, E) elongate, smoky apically, surpassing apex of abdomen. Profemur ( Fig. 1 View FIGURE 1 , F) with anteromedial (AM1) row setae enlarged; intercalary (IC) row with about eight fine setae; anteroventral (AV) row nearly reduced. Hind femur ( Fig. 1 View FIGURE 1 , G) with apical setal formula 2+2+1.
Anterior margin of pygophore ( Fig. 2 View FIGURE 2 , J) with an apodeme on each side. Pygofer side ( Fig. 2 View FIGURE 2 , J) apically tapering, nearly rounded posteriorly, without dorsoposterior process, with several macrosetae. Valve ( Fig. 2 View FIGURE 2 , K, L) semicircular. Subgenital plate ( Fig. 2 View FIGURE 2 , K, L) digitate, broad proximally and sharply constricted apically, with several fine hair-like microsetae arising from lateral margin. Style ( Fig. 2 View FIGURE 2 , K, L, M, N) with apical process longish and footlike, lateral lobe not prominent, with a small subapical projection in ventral view. Connective ( Fig. 2 View FIGURE 2 , J, K, O, P) Y-shaped, arms relatively short and slender, stem with long posterior process curved ventrad, with short dentiform process arising from ventral surface near basal 1/5. Aedeagus ( Fig. 2 View FIGURE 2 , J, Q, R) situated dorsad of connective and linked to it by membrane from near mid-length of stem, dorsal apodeme well developed; shaft curved dorsad, with pair of small lateral retrorse processes near mid-length, apex with a pair of short lateral processes extended anterolaterad; dorsal atrium nearly as long as shaft. Gonopore ( Fig. 2 View FIGURE 2 , R) large, subapical on posterior surface. Segment X ( Fig. 2 View FIGURE 2 , J) large, sclerotized laterally and dorsally.
Female: Hind margin of 7 th sternite ( Fig. 1 View FIGURE 1 , I) with V-shaped notch in middle, caudal margin convex. 3 rd valvulae ( Fig. 1 View FIGURE 1 , I) prominently exceeding apex of pygofer.
Material examined. Holotype: ♂, Yunnan Province, Mengla County, Shangyong Town , light trap, 3-V-2019, Coll. Lu Kewei ( NWAFU) . Paratype: 1♀, the data same as the holotype .
Etymology. The new species epithet is named after the type locality.
Remarks. This new species can be distinguished from all other species in the genus by the following unique characters: anterior margin of pygofer side with an apodeme; connective stem curved ventrad with a short dentate process arising near basal 1/ 5 in ventral view; aedeagal shaft with a pair of small lateral dentate processes.
