Distribution. C Europe to S Ural. Recently found also in Greece (Kaitila & Junnilainen, unpublished). Outside Europe in Turkey, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and The Russian Far East ( Bidzilya 2005b). The sequence of species in the genus Athrips follows that of Bidzilya (2005b).
