Dactylotula kinkerella (Snellen, 1876) View in CoL
Kuvandyk 19.VII.1998 (1♀); Verbljushka 14.VII.1998 (1♀).
Distribution. Very locally in C Europe, S Scandinavia, Latvia, Ukraine and Russia (S Ural).
Remarks. In NW Europe the species lives on Ammophila arenaria (L.), which grows in coastal dune areas. However, Ammophila does not occur in the eastern localities of A. kinkerella (E Latvia, S Ural). The species prefers sandy areas. It is new to Russia. For the generic combination see Junnilainen & K. Nupponen (2010).
