Burannoe 30.VII.2000 (1♂), 06.VIII.2005 (5♂♂), 07.VIII.2005 (4♂♂, 1♀), 18.VIII.2006 27 exx, 19.VIII.2006 (2 exx.)
Other material studied. Russia, Astrahan district, Baskunzak salt lake SW, Bogdo , 6 exx. 26.VIII.2006, K. Nupponen leg. ( KN) .
Distribution. Known from Russia (S Ural, Lower Volga) and Hungary. Also from Cyprus and Ukraine (Crimea).
Remarks. The species was described from the vicinity of Volgograd (Sarepta), Russia. Anikin et al. (1999) mention that they have seen only a single old specimen originating from the region collected by Christoph, and suppose that the species has vanished from its type locality. Thus, our records might represent the first record from Russia since the original description in the 19 th century. The habitat is a meadow with plenty of Glycyrrhiza glabra L. and Limonium gmelini (Willd.) .
