Distribution. Widely distributed from C and S Europe to S Ural. Outside Europe in Turkey, the Caucasus, C Asia and S Siberia eastwards to Mongolia.
Remarks. A. subericinella seems to be a species complex. There are three different forms in our material from S Ural. The male genitalia in these groups also differ from each other in some details.
