Taxon of Cheliplanidae , with proboscis hooks without paired denticles (sometimes with one or more unpaired denticles). Sidepieces soft and finger-like, sometimes with bristles or sclerotised. In the latter case, always without a sclerotised crossbar. Cylindrical pharynx with long, often spinous cavity. Single or paired testes. Male copulatory organ with an eversible cirrus, in some cases combined with an external sclerotised tube (papilla, stylet) or an internal stylet. Single ovary, paired or unpaired vitellaria. Type species: C. vestibularis de Beauchamp, 1927 .
