Distribution. Russia (Astrakhan Prov., * Tyva Rep.); Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan.
Remarks. Tachysphex speciosissimus Morice, 1897 should be excluded from the list of Russian fauna because previous records were based on misidentification.
