Acamerobia gen. n.
Female. Stylophore with 4–5 pairs of peritremes. Counts of setae and solenidia from palptrochanter to palptarsus: 0, 2, 1, 3 + 1 claw, 2 setae + 2 eupathidia + 1 solenidion. Idiosoma with 16 pairs of setae (vx present). Anal valves with 2 pairs of pseudanal setae. Solenidion ω on tarsi I–II situated on distal halves. Tarsi I–IV each with 1 medioventral seta. Counts of setae and solenidia of legs I–IV: coxae (excluding 1a, 3a and 4a) 2 + 1 elcI, 1, 2, 2; trochanters 1, 1, 1, 1; femora 5, 4, 3, 2; genua 2 + 1ĸ, 2 + 1ĸ, 2, 1; tibiae 8 + 1φ, 7 + 1φ, 6 + 1φ, 6 + 1φ; tarsi 9 + 1ω, 9 + 1ω, 7, 7.
Type species. Acamerobia inflatus sp. n., by present designation.
Etymology. The genus name Acamerobia is a combination of the prefix a and the existing name, Camerobia .
Remarks. Adult females of Acamerobia gen. n. resemble those of Camerobia Southcott, 1957 and Bisetulobius du Toit, Theron and Ueckermann, 1998 in having complex peritremes and solenidion ω situating on the distal half of tarsi I and II, but can be separated from them in having only two pairs of pseudanal setae and that setae vx are present.
