1962 Cypridea nannorostrata n. sp. —Krömmelbein, p. 446–447, pl. 55, fig. 16.

Diagnosis: A medium-sized Cypridea species with an extended trapeziform to extended egg-shaped outline, in dorsal view slimly biconvex. Rostrum very small, rostral groove slightly indented, no rostral sulcus. No sculpture.

Holotype: Carapace, SMF Xe 4169.

Paratypes: 8 carapaces under SMF Xe 4170.

Dimensions: Holotype, length 0.83mm, height 0.47mm.

Remarks (Bate et al. herein): Cypridea quadrilateralis Swain, 1946 appears here in Krömmelbein (1962) with a diagnosis – ‘Hypotypes’: Carapace, SMF Xe 4171; carapace, SMF Xe 4172; not imaged in present paper.
