Diagnosis: A medium-sized species of Cypridea (carapace length approx. 0.90mm) with the following peculiarities: strong pore-dimples on the whole valve surface, occasionally having more or less pointed and quite long spines arranged in rows, densely placed along the anterior margin and ventral margin and on the upper posterior valve surface.
Holotype: Carapace, BfB 7779.
Paratypes: Not deposited.
Dimensions: Holotype, length 0.93mm, height 0.52mm, width 0.42mm.
