Alnetoidia Dlabola, 1958: 55 (Type: Cicadula alneti Dahlbom, 1850 )

Diagnosis. Body slender, dorsal coloration yellow or pale yellow without spot or pattern. Head including eyes narrower than pronotum. Forewing well developed; extended well beyond apex of abdomen. Pygofer lobe broadly rounded on posterior margin with dorsal appendage movably articulated and ventral process well developed in nominotypical subgenus but absent in subgenus Alnella . Subgenital plate with three macrosetae at middle part and several microsetae around outer surface. Aedeagus symmetrical, usually with a pair of process and curved laterally.
