NOTES. The nominative subspecies is distributed in eastern Myanmar (Wiesner, 2006),

northern, eastern and southern Thailand (Naviaux, 1991; Naviaux & Pinratana, 2004; Matalin,

2015), northern, central and southern Laos (Wiesner & Geiser, 2016), as well as southwestern

China (Shook & Wiesner, 2006; Wu, 2011). In Vietnam, it is known to occur in six provinces:

Bac Giang, Cao Bang, Lang Son (Northeast region), Hoa Binh, Vinh Phuc ( Red River Delta region ), and Thua Thien-Hue (south of the North Central Coast region ) (Wiesner et al., 2017) .

In Nghe An province (north of the North Central Coast region ), H. f. ferrarii is being recorded for the first time .
