REMARKS.—This is a small (body length 14 mm) primarily piceous species with nine apical cells in the fore wings ( Goding 1925).
DISTRIBUTION.—The species has been reported only from Ecuador ( Metcalf 1963c). Goding (1925) reported the species from Tarqui, Azuay province.
