Type species — Lepturges inscriptus Bates, 1863 View in CoL (original designation).
Diagnosis. Erect setae restricted to distal half or third of elytral margins; prothorax with lateral tubercles placed at the posterior third; antennae long and slender, 11-segmented.
Number of species currently included: 20; in Mexico and Central America : 2.
