Notes: — Gustafsson (1934) based his description on a collection of Boivin (Boivin 1437). Five samples of this collection are conserved in P. The specimen P02579821 must be considered as the type, because this is the only specimen with a label written by Gustafsson. The other specimens ( P02579818 ; P02579819 ; P02579820 ; P02579822 ) are isolectotypes. Another isolectotype is in Kew ( K000737699 ).

The form falls within the normal variation of R. borbonicus = R. apetalus .
