Distribution (Map 3): Turkmenia, southern Tadjikistan. - In Iran: Golestan, Semnan and Khorasan provinces.

Bionomics. The species is native to arid biotopes and is univoltine with flight period from mid August to mid October. Females wingless. Caterpillars on various lower plants, observed from Artemisia spp . ( Asteraceae ), Astragalus spp ., Onobrychus spp . ( Fabaceae = Leguminosae), Malcolmia turkestanica (Brassicaceae) , Carex pachystilis (Carecaceae) , Calligonum griseum (Polygonaceae) . Eggs hibernate.
