♂ Tarsi dark-brown; metatarsi slightly paler brown. Calypteres dusky-brown with dark-brown margins and fringes. Wing pale-brownish hyaline. Scutellum wholly pollinose; one setula on each side between setae. Anepisternum usually with three anterodorsal setae. Epandrium longer than wide in lateral view; with three to five long; strong setae at posterior apex; these considerably longer than epandrium. Phallus G-shaped with a double hump in the back of the C; fully three times as long as basiphallus second hump and adjoining area pubescent; apex moderately flared, but dorsal third to half of flare appearing as if cut away; thus, apex resembles an inverted kettle-spout.
