Distribution. China (Anhui, Henan, Hubei, Guizhou, Zhejiang), Japan. Remarks. Mano (2009) and Mano & Takasaki (2011) regarded C. butleri (South, 1901) that was transferred from

Crocidophora Lederer, 1863 View in CoL to the present genus by Li et al. (2009) as a member of Sinibotys Munroe & Mutuura, 1969 View in CoL .

After comparing its characters with those of Circobotys View in CoL and Sinibotys View in CoL , we consider C. butleri as a valid species of Circobotys View in CoL .
