Distribution. From East Tropical Africa through south Middle Asia and Afghanistan to India and Vietnam ( Negrea 1997; Lewis 2010; Simaiakis & Edgecombe 2013; Dyachkov 2020c, 2022a, 2022b).
Remarks. According to Lewis (2001), some specimens identified by Chamberlin (1958) as S. morsitans belong to S. mirabilis .
According to the description and illustrations provided by Al-Doori et al. (2020), specimens identified as S. afer and S. amazonica belong to S. mirabilis .
