Description: Holotype male ( Plate 8 View Plates 8–11 ). Body 3.36 mm. LFW 2.2 mm.

Colours: Head and mesosoma dark castaneous almost black; metasoma dark castaneous; procoxa, femora castaneous; antenna, mandible, palpi, tegula, meso- and metacoxae, trochanters, tibiae, tarsi light castaneous; wings clear hyaline with distal spot; wing venation light castaneous.

Head ( Plate 10 View Plates 8–11 ): Mandible with five sharp apical teeth. Clypeus with well-projected median lobe with apical margin truncate, without lateral lobe; median clypeal carina inclined, fused with median lobe. Antennal foramina distance more than antennal foramen diameter. Antenna with insertion higher than clypeal carina, with short and sub-erect pubescence; scape curved, with same diameter along its extension; pedicel as long as wide; flagellomeres longer than wide. Eye rounded, small. Frons coriaceous, without setae. First five antennomeres in ratio of about 20:6:18:18:18. LH 1.08 × WH. WF 2.40 × HE. WF 0.66 × WH. OOL 1.66 × WOT. VOL 1.20 × HE. Distance of posterior ocellus to vertex crest 1.6 × DAO. Frontal angle of ocellar triangle right-angled; ocelli small; ocellar triangle compact. Temple parallel. Vertex convex. Malar sulcus absent. Occipital carina present. Gena coriaceous. Hypostomal carina forming acute angle. Palpal formula 5:2, segments with circular cross section, widened distally, apices of segments with some short setae.

Mesosoma ( Plates 9, 11 View Plates 8–11 ): Pronotal disc 0.5 × as long as wide; coriaceous, trapezoidal, side slightly concave; anterior slope of pronotal disc inclined in profile. Mesoscutum coriaceous, as long as mesoscutellum; notaulus absent; parapsidal signum present, incomplete, parallel. Mesoscutellum coriaceous, touching propodeal disc; mesoscutellar sulcus narrow, arched. Propodeal disc as long as wide; strigate, with seven discal carinae; median carina complete; inner pair incomplete; second pair carina incomplete; outer pair complete; sublateral carina absent; lateral carina present and conspicuous; posterior carina complete; spiracle elliptical, placed at lateral carina anteriorly. Declivity of propodeum strigate, without median carina. Lateral surface of propodeum strigate. Prosternum conspicuous. Mesopleuron weakly areolate and strigate at mesopleural suture region, with acropleural sulcus continuous with mesopleural suture, without fovea; mesopleural suture with inner margin not striate. Wings: Forewing elongate, dorsal face without setae, with three closed cells; median cell almost rectangular; sub-developed; r-rs & Rs vein long. Hind wing with costal vein long, dorsal face without setae; with four hamuli.

Legs: Profemur dilated. Trochanters clearly strong. Spur of protibia strong. Metatibia elongate. Tarsi elongate. Tarsal claw simple and arched, apex sharp.

Metasoma 1.5 × longer than wide; coriaceous, tergites I–II with pair of conspicuous lateral spiracles; tergum II as long as others.

Genitalia ( Plates 12–14 View Plates 12–14 ): Paramere divided in two arms, club-shaped; ventral and dorsal arms in same height; dorsal arm wider than ventral one. Cuspis bi-ramous, ventral and dorsal arms in same height, ventral arm as wide as dorsal one. Aedeagus slender and straight, not reaching paramere apex; with apical filamentary projection as high as paramere apex; basal half abruptly convex; secondary apodeme divergent; inner apodeme parallel.

Variations: Body length 2.60–3.68 mm; LFW 1.80–2.48 mm; wings clear hyaline, metasoma castaneous.

Remarks: This species is similar to G. dispersum Krombein, 1996 , only by having the body dark castaneous nearly black; head longer than wide. However, G. satiae sp. nov. has the head with temple parallel; the propodeal disc with seven carinae, only the median and second pair of discal carina complete, whereas G. dispersum has the head with temple convergent posteriorly; the propodeal disc with five carinae, with all carinae complete.

Distribution: United Arab Emirates.

Etymology: This species is named after Sati, Ricardo Kawada’s daughter.
