DISTRIBUTION: NA.

NEW RECORDS: Numerous specimens, in Rovinj (NA) in the coarse shell with detritus accumulated in small patches between rocks 3-4 m deep, in 1965 (W. Sterrer, pers. comm.). REMARKS: This is the first record from the Adriatic Sea. However, the identification is doubtful and needs to be confirmed (W. Sterrer, pers. comm.).
