LITERATURE RECORDS: Katzmann 1973a, 1983; Požar-Domac 1994; Castelli et al. 2008. NEW RECORDS: BM18, BM19, BM20.
REMARKS: According to the results of the phylogenetic analysis of the scale-worms performed by Norlinder et al. (2012), the previous family Pisionidae Southern, 1914 (including Pisione Grube, 1857 ) is synonymyzed with the family Sigalionidae Malmgren, 1867 .
