Triplocania leguizamoensis View in CoL n. sp.
( Figs 335–340 View FIGURES 335 – 340 )
Diagnosis. Wings hyaline; hypandrium ( Fig. 338 View FIGURES 335 – 340 ) of four sclerites; central sclerite convex anteriorly, with two long, proximally wide posterior lateral processes, stout, acuminate, each bearing a pointed, short process proximally on outer border. Posterior sclerite anteriorly concave, long, widening distally, with posterior border biconcave; side sclerites small. Phallosome with side struts falcate, independent, fused posteriorly to distally dilated external parameres; anterior endophallic sclerites V-shaped, straight, each arm wider anteriorly, distally bent posteriorly; mesal sclerites proximally narrow, widening distally, divided in two arms; posterior sclerites long, straight, terminally wide, with four acuminate processes. Related to T. lamasi Silva-Neto et al. , and T. lamasoides Silva-Neto et al. , from which it differs in the lateral processes of the anterior sclerite of the hypandrium, and in the posterior sclerite of the hypandrium; it also differs from them in the structure of the phallosome ( Fig. 340 View FIGURES 335 – 340 ).
Male. Color (in 80% ethanol). Body yellowish brown. Head dark brown, pattern ( Fig. 337 View FIGURES 335 – 340 ); compound eyes dark brown; ocelli hyaline, with ochre centripetal crescents. Antennae pale brown, scape and pedicel brown. Maxillary palps pale brown. Tergal lobes of meso- and metathorax brown. Thoracic pleura cream, with reddish brown spots. Coxae, trochanters and femora creamy white; tibiae and tarsi pale brown. Wings hyaline, veins brown. Abdomen cream, with irregular, subcuticular pale brown spots; clunium brown. Phallosome dark brown; posterior sclerites dark brown. Epiproct and paraprocts cream, with subcuticular brown spots.
