Cymodusa longiterebra Dbar, 1985 syn. nov.

Taxonomical remarks. The examination of the type specimens revealed that Cymodusa nigra (described from Romania) and Cymodusa longiterebra (described from Crimea) are undoubtedly conspecific, therefore Cymodusa longiterebra is considered a junior subjective synonym of Cymodusa nigra . In the latest revision of the Palaearctic Cymodusa species, Dbar (1984; 1985) did not mention Cymodusa nigra at all; most probably he was not aware of Šedivý (1965) ’s paper, as the species description of Cymodusa longiterebra fits entirely with that of Cymodusa nigra .

Diagnosis. Cymodusa nigra is easily distinguishable from the other Palaearctic species of the “australis” group (sensu Dbar (1985)), it is the only species with ovipositor sheath longer (1.15–1.25×) than hind tibia, and the deeply impressed, very strongly trans-striated area petiolaris is also characteristic. Propodeal carination as in Fig. 6 . Tegula dark, metasoma black, hind femur reddish, hind tibia reddish, basally with a pale spot, subbasally and apically slightly darkened. Males can also be reliably identified by characters of propodeum and colouration. Body length ca. 7–8 mm.
