Ischnotoma (Icriomastax) phaeton Alexander, 1945 View in CoL
Alexander, 1945b: 10–12 (original description); 41, figure 3 (male terminalia); (as Holorusia). Type locality: Brazil, São Paulo, São Paulo (Serra da Cantareira).
Holotype male with labels: (1) handwritten on white paper: “ Brazil | São Paulo | Serra Cantareira | 900m; Dec. 40 [December, 1940] | Travassos”; (2) printed with handwritten inscriptions on red paper: “ HOLOTYPE ♂ | Holorusia | phaeton | C. P. Alexander”.
Preservation: mounted at the tip of two pinned paper triangles; terminalia mounted on a plastic slide pinned with the specimen. Missing parts: antennae, left wing and all legs. Additional note: the original description indicates as collectors “Guimarães & Travassos”. This differs from the specimen label which indicates only “Travassos” as the collector.
