Length: 12–23 mm
Remarks: Conus parvatus was originally described as a subspecies of C. musicus Hwass in Bruguière ( Walls, 1979) . Indian Ocean populations formerly identified under that name are now accepted as the distinct species C. parvatus Walls , following molecular genetic evidence ( Puillandre et al. 2014, 2015, WoRMS). Prior records of C. parvatus from Lakshadweep were by Rao and Rao (1991) and KSCSTE (2013) (see also Table 1, Addendum 2).
