The new synonymy is proposed by the comparison of the male paratype of A. aibussu View in CoL , decribed from Pasco, Peru, with the female holotype of A. abaiba View in CoL , described from Mato Grosso, Brazil.
Specimens examined. BRAZIL, Mato Grosso: Sinop (12 31´S, 55 37´W, km 500 – 600, road BR- 163, 350 m), female, X.1974, Alvarenga & Roppa leg. (holotype of A. abaiba View in CoL , MNRJ); PERU, Junin: Chanchamayo, male, 22.XII.1948 (paratype of A. aibussu View in CoL , MNRJ).
