Sinerus Stål, 1860: 56. Type species: Sinervus barensprungi Stål, 1860 . Monotypic.

Diagnosis. Head wider than long, deeply sunken on vertex; eyes strongly stalked, extending upward and posteriorly. Hemelytra parallel sided, hyaline, sparsely setose; embolium narrow; cuneus elongate, somewhat curved toward apex of membrane; legs elongate and slender.
