Type host: Garrulax affinis Blyth ( Passeriformes : Timaliidae ). Type locality: Nepal.
FEMALE (3 paratypes). Total body length 800–900. Gnathosoma . Infracapitulum sparsely punctate. Each medial branch of peritremes with 3–4 chambers, each lateral branch with 8–9 chambers. Stylophore apunctate, 265 long. Idiosoma . Propodonotal shield entire but deeply cleft on anterior margin, sparsely punctate near bases of setae ve and si. Bases of setae vi, ve, si and c1 located on propodonotal shield, setae se situated on or near this shield. Length ratio of setae vi:ve:si 1:1–1.2:1–1.5. Setae c1 and se located at same transverse level. Hysteronotal shields divided longitudinally, apunctate, not fused to pygidial shield, bearing bases of setae d1. Pygidial shield weakly developed, punctate on posterior part. Length ratios of setae f1:f2 1:1.7–1.8, h1:h2:f2 1:1:1. Genital setae g2 1.6 times longer than g1 and 2.1 times shorter than ag1. Setae ag1 and ag3 subequal in length. Coxal fields I–IV densely punctate. Setae 3b about 2–2.5 times shorter than 3c. Legs. Setae p’ and p” of legs III and IV with 9–10 tines. Setae tc’ and tc” of legs III–IV subequal in length or setae tc” slightly (1.2 times) longer than tc’. Lengths of setae: vi 40–55, ve 40–55, si 55–60, se 230–260, c1 230–265, c2 200–265, d1 160–190, d2 200–215, e2 180–205, f1 150–170, f2 270–280, h1 270–280, h2 270–280, ps1 and ps2 30, g1 45–50, g2 70–80, 1a 155–160, 3a 85, ag1 170–270, ag2 205–250, ag3 160–285, l’RIII 30–35, l’RIV 25–30, tc’III–IV 50–60, tc”III–IV 60–70, 3b 30, 3c 65– 75.
MALE (3 paratypes). Total body length 635–670. Infracapitulum apunctate. Stylophore apunctate, 190–200 long. Movable cheliceral digit 170–180 long. Hypostomal apex with pair short, sharp-ended protuberances. Each medial branch of peritremes with 3–4 chambers, each lateral branch with 11–13 striated chambers. Idiosoma . Propodonotal shield punctate at lateral margin or only near bases of setae vi, ve and si, deeply concave on anterior margin, bearing bases of setae vi, ve, si, se and c1. Setae se situated anterior to level of setae c1. Setae vi and ve subequal in length, both slightly shorter than si. Hysteronotal shield weakly sclerotized, fused to pygidial shield, apunctate, bearing bases of setae d1, e2, f2 and h2. Setae d2 about twice as long as d1 and e2. Setae h2 4.2–4.7 times longer than f2. Genital setae g1 and g2 situated at same transverse level. Setae ag1 1.7–1.9 times longer than ag2. Coxal fields I–IV punctate. Setae 3c about 1.6–2.3 times longer than 3b. Setae tc” of legs III–IV slightly (1.3 times) longer than tc’III-IV.
