Kethleyana gelochelidoni Kivganov, 1995: 83 , fig. 3.

Type host: Gelochelidon nilotica Gmelin ( Charadriiformes : Sternidae ) Type locality: Ukraine.

This species was unavaiable for the present study and its diagnosis is provided based on the original description by Kivganov & Sharafat (1995).

FEMALE. Total body length 957–965. Gnathosoma . Each medial branch of peritremes with 3–4 chambers, each lateral branch with 9–10 chambers. Idiosoma . Propodonotal shield with slightly concave anterior margin, bearing bases of setae vi, ve, si, se and c1. Length ratio of setae vi: ve: si: c2 1:2.8:3.7:3.9. Setae d2 and d1 subequal in length, both slightly longer than e2. Length ratio of setae f1: f2: h1: h2 1:3:3.5:3.5. Legs. Fan-like setae p’ and p” with 15-20 tines. Setae l’RIII and l’RIV subequal in length. Lengths of setae: vi 56–60, ve 162–165, si 214–220, c2 220–224, se 170–173; c1 245–250; d2 170–173; e2 210–220; f2 290–385; h2 438–440; d1 190–192; f1 125–130; h1 438–450.

Type material (not examined). Gelochelidon nilotica Gmelin (Charadriformes: Laridae ); female holotype and 1 female paratype; ( OCU –G–N–9); UKRAINE, Odessa Prov., Tiligulski liman, 23 May 1990, coll. D.A. Kivganov.

Type material deposition. All type material is deposited in the OCU and was unavaiable for the present study.

Host range and habitat. Monoxenous species inhabiting quills of Gelochelidon nilotica .

Distribution. Ukraine.
